I’m sittin’ here, listening to Clario, smokin’ a YOINT, sippin on a a sexy ass Chenin from Jamiee Motely of the Santa Cruz Mountains. IDK if you hoe’s have noticed but the majority of what I recommend are California wines! WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT!? I guess Vin Dealer and the TikTok are a representation of my obsession with California and the literal LIFE it gives me. Not just because of being from there but you know when you get to be my age *pushes up reading glasses* you start gravitating back to what you grew up with. Cali wines transport me back home and for that, I’m truly grateful.
Boy, has it been a hell-o-a-week. I did my FIRST EVER brand activation with Never Fully Dressed a size-inclusive girly brand based in the UK with a shop here in NYC. And can I just say, it was the time of my life. I walked away thinking “I could do this shit for the rest of my life.” How fucking cool is that? FINALLY knowing what I want to be when I grow up? It’s a delightful feeling. A delightful feeling indeed.

I made this noodle dish today with green onions and oyster sauce. It came out OK because I don’t like the noods I worked with. THAT SAID the flavors were insane. If you care, I put a loose recipe below.
small bunch of green onions
oyster sauce
white wine
pinch of salt
pinch of sugar
a garlic clove
noodles of your choice
red pepper flakes
lemon juice
boil a large pot of water, heavily salted, with chop up your green onions and separate white from green. sauté white onions with garlic in olive oil. once it starts to smell fragrant, turn the heat down low and add a bit of lemon juice, then white wine. add a moderate amount of oyster sauce, stir. add red pepper flakes, stir. add a tsp of sugar with a pinch of salt, stir. add some of the pasta water into this liquid.
once the noodles are al dente, tong noodles into the oyster sauce mixture and stir. let marinate to your liking and serve. top with green onions and fried onions for crunch. maybe a bit of chili oil of your feelin RARW.
